TIKTOK has become the latest social media platform on which stars and influencers feud over short clips and entertain people with their beef.
The latest TikTok star on the rise is Ed Matthews and here is what you need to know about him and the beef he has with fellow TikTokers.
Who is Ed Matthews on TikTok?
Ed Matthews is a social media personality who’s famous for his beef over TikTok and Instagram with OnlyFans star Astrid Wett, Cal The Dragon and Simple Simon.
Ed first clashed with Cal The Dragon, 21, over a TikTok which saw Ed meet Astrid Wett at a rave and described him to be “dropping game.”
Cal The Dragon was added to the mix when Ed tagged him in an Instagram story which showed a picture of him and Astrid, 21, and said: “@Callum_The_Dragon_Official ur girl is tryna hold the wood.”
Cal responded with a video on Tiktok saying: “Astrid and Ed, now I see what you’re on about.”
The amateur goalkeeper had a disappointing tone in his voice as some think that he might have previously dated Astrid who told her fans that they were just “friends.”
The two previously had a TikTok live in which Astrid asked Cal whether he has a girlfriend and the comments section was filled with people saying how Cal wanted to graft the OnlyFans star.
The two then collabed together to create football TikToks and Ed called Astrid out saying that she’s using Cal to boost her online presence.
Astrid disagreed with this and said that she does not need Cal to become big online, she simply hangs out with him and create content because they’re friends.
Everything cooled down between Ed, Cal and Astrid until Simple Simon, 51, entered the narrative.
Simple Simon – whose real name is Simon Cobrain – came into the story and told Ed over a TikTok live: “You know for a fact, Ed, that I would do anything for Cal.”
But later on, Simon and Astrid met, then they started creating content together and then they confirmed that they’re in a relationship.
Ed was furious with Simon over such news and called both TikTok stars out.
Cal told everyone to leave the couple alone, but it did not end there.
Ed and Simon decided to have a boxing match and fight it out in the ring and settle the beef that way.
Astrid seems to be loving the beef after she posted on her TikTok a video with the caption: “When a 19 year old and a 51 year old are boxing each other all because of you.”
How old is Ed Matthews?
Ed is 19-years old and also works for the British army.
On his TikTok he made videos about his three-year body transformation in which he shared his gym journey and expressed how proud he is with the muscle he put on.
When is Ed Matthews fighting Simple Simon?
The two will meet each other on July 16 at The Indigo which is inside the O2 arena.
Astrid Wedd was going to fight Elle Brook in the co-main event, but pulled out over safety concerns.
This venue can seat up to 2,500 people but tickets are yet to come out.
If you do not want to travel all the way to London to watch the event, it will be available via an online stream on YouTube.
The only downside is that the event will be available to view online on the streaming platform with a pay-per-view barrier.
The price of the pay-per-view has not yet been revealed.
