What Happened To Mikaela Shiffrin Father? update On Accident Did He Had? What Happened?

Mikaela Shiffrin’s father, Jeff Shifrin, died of a head injury caused by an accident at home. He died on February 2, 2020, at the age of 65. U.S. Ski & Snowboard set up a foundation in his honor. It provides financial support to U.S. Ski & Snowboard competitors.

According to Vail Daily, he was an anesthesiologist who used his clinical science skills to assist his daughter in developing unique training and workout methods.

He also taught her to concentrate, stay in the moment, and not let even a self-admonishing shriek distract her while racing.

However, this year’s Olympics will be difficult for Mikaela as her father will not be there for her for the first time. Her mother, Eileen, expects her first visit to the finish line in China to be “heartbreaking and may be difficult to get through.”

In an email to Associated Press, she said that the family does not even spend a day without thinking about Jeff. She added that his absence is still gut-wrenching if they let their minds wander there, wrote The Aspen Times.
